cape cod in 2 days. it's going to be epic, if only for me.
seriously, there are few things i have looked forward to as much as this mini-vacation. i'm too broke to afford it, but i cant afford not to go. i need some time, away from connecticut, away from everything that has been stressing me out (i.e: work, et. al.), time by myself, to do what i please. so few people appreciate the value of personal time, of just letting your mind go, and being by yourself. so many people feel it neccesary to always be around others, and forget to enjoy the sweet symphony of their own mind working.
so thats what i'm planning on doing. for 3 whole days, i'm not required to be around anyone, but for my own choosing. and that, my friends, is a beautiful thing.
on a slightly different note: AIRSOFT tourney august 17th-19th. i get to hang out in the woods with a bunch of guys, all dressed in camo, as we shoot each other with airsoft guns. and at night? same thing, only with obscene amounts of alcohol in our systems, to boot.
i hope it is as good a week as it promises to be =)
